Phaleucian, a.|fəˈl(j)uːsɪən| Also 6 -sian. [f. L. Phaleucius, properly Phalæci-us (f. Phalæcus) + -an.] Of or pertaining to Phalæcus, an ancient Greek poet: applied to an ancient metre consisting of a spondee, a dactyl, and three trochees.
