Pestalozzi|pɛstəˈlɒtsɪ| The name of Jean Henri Pestalozzi (see Pestalozzian a.) used attrib. in Pestalozzi (children's) village to designate any of several communities of refugee and homeless children established on Pestalozzian principles in Switzerland and elsewhere in Europe after the war of 1939–45.
