peroba|pəˈrəʊbə| [Pg., f. Tupi.] Any of several Brazilian hardwood trees, esp. Aspidosperma peroba and other members of this genus, belonging to the family Apocynaceæ, or Paratecoma peroba, of the family Bignoniaceæ; also, the wood of these trees.
