† pernor Law. Obs. Also 5–7 pernour(e, (5 -er), 7 parnor, purnor. [a. AF. pernour = OF. preneor, -eur taker, f. prendre, pren-ant to take.] A taker or receiver, esp. of rent or profits of land or other property.
