Combining form of perchloric, perchloride, perchlorinated; chiefly indicating a compound in which there is the maximum replacement of hydrogen by chlorine, as in perchloracetic, perchloraldehyde, perchlor-benzene, perchlor-ethane, perchlor-ethylic, perchloroquinone, etc.
