Pennsylvania Dutch, n. and a. A. n. a. pl. [Dutch n. 3 a.] The descendants of the original German settlers in Pennsylvania. b. [see Dutch n. 1.] A Pennsylvanian dialect derived from the High German of a great number of the early settlers, with a considerable admixture of English elements. B. adj.
