Paulite1 Ch. Hist.|ˈpɔːlaɪt| [f. name of Paul, L. Paul-us + -ite1 1.] 1. One of an order of monks, also called Hermits of St. Paul, founded in 1215, at Budapest. Also attrib. or as adj., of or belonging to this order.
