patched, ppl. a.|pætʃt, ˈpætʃɪd| [f. patch v. + -ed1.] a. In senses corresponding to those of the verb: Mended with patches; made up of pieces as in patchwork; mended, made up, or put together hastily, clumsily, or insecurely. Also patched-together, patched-up.
