1965N.Y. Times 18 Feb. 43 The product, named parylene, has been successfully used as a dielectric..on capacitors. 1965Mod. Plastics Mar. 113/2 The simplest member of the family is parylene N. A chlorinated member, designated parylene C, is also available. 1969C. A. Harper Handbk. Electronic Packaging vii. 43 The basic member of the series, called Parylene N, is poly-para-xylylene, a completely linear, highly crystalline material. Ibid., The parylenes are produced by vapor-phase deposition in a variety of forms. 1975J. A. Brydson Plastics Materials (ed. 3) xxi. 470 With both Parylene materials the polymers have molecular weights of the order of 500,000. |
