propulsor Aeronaut.|prəˈpʌlsə(r)| [f. L. prōpuls-, ppl. stem of prōpellĕre to propel, + -or.] A propeller mounted in a short duct or cylinder which can usually be swivelled to vary the direction of thrust, e.g. on an airship.
