parachronism|pəˈrækrənɪz(ə)m| [f. Gr. παρα- para-1 + χρόν-ος time + -ism: cf. ἀναχρονισµός anachronism. Cf. F. parachronisme.] An error in chronology; usually taken as one in which an event, etc., is referred to a later date than the true one. (Cf. anachronism.)
