oxylith|ˈɒksɪlɪθ| Also -lithe. [ad. F. oxylithe, f. oxy- oxy- 2 + -lithe -lith.] A commercial name for calcium peroxide, CaO2, as used in breathing apparatus as a convenient source of oxygen (evolved by reaction with carbon dioxide).
