oviduct Anat. and Zool.|ˈəʊvɪdʌkt| [ad. med. or mod. anat. L. ōviductus = ōvī ductus, duct n. or channel of the egg.] The duct or canal forming a passage for the ova or eggs from the ovary, esp. in oviparous animals, as birds; less commonly used of the corresponding structure in mammals (Fallopian tube, uterus, and vagina), or of its upper portion (Fallopian tube) alone.
