orbicularis, a. (n.) Anat.|ɔːˌbɪkjʊˈlɑːrɪs| Pl. orbiculares. [L., = orbicular a.] a. In full (musculus) orbicularis oris [L. ōs, ōr- mouth]. A muscle surrounding the lips that is partly responsible for moving the lips and the mouth.
