ophiology|ɒfɪˈɒlədʒɪ| (Erron. ophidology). [f. ophio- + -logy.] That branch of zoology which treats of serpents. Hence ophioˈlogic, ophioˈlogical adjs.; ophiˈologist, one versed in the natural history of serpents.
