Omnimax, n. Cinematogr.|ˈɒmnɪmæks| [f. omni- + maximum n., after *Imax n.] A proprietary name for a technique of wide-screen cinematography in which 70mm film is projected through a fish-eye lens on to a hemispherical screen. Freq. attrib.
