aporobranchian, a. and n. Zool.|ˌæpɒrəʊˈbræŋkɪən| [f. mod.L. Aporobranchia (f. Gr. ἀ priv. + πόρο-ς passage, pore + βράγχι-α gills) + -an.] A. adj. Having no apparent respiratory tubes. B. n. Arachnids or Spiders so distinguished, otherwise called Podosomata.
