[ad. Gr. νοούµενον, neut. of the pres. pple. pass. of νοεῖν to apprehend, conceive; introduced by Kant in contrast to phenomenon.]
In the philosophy of Kant: An object of purely intellectual intuition, devoid of all phenomenal attributes.
