[L., a. Gr. ἀποκατάστασις re-establishment, f. ἀπο-καθιστάναι to set up again.]
1. Restoration, re-establishment, renovation. spec. in Theol. (see quot. 1957).

Biblical Psychol. vii. 552 No doctrine..contradicts the Holy Scripture in a more unwarrantable manner than that of the so-called Apokatastasis. 1956Sc. Jrnl. Theol.
