neuroepithelial, a. Histology.|ˌnjʊərəʊɛpɪˈθiːlɪəl| Also neuro-epithelial. [f. neuroepithelium + -al.] a. Of or pertaining to neuroepithelium (sense a); applied spec. to an epithelial nerve cell that is a sensory receptor.
