Nereid|ˈnɪəriːɪd| [ad. L. Nērē̆ïd-, Nērē̆ïs, a. Gr. νηρηίς, νηρεΐς, f. νηρεύς the name of an ancient sea-god.] 1. Myth. A daughter of Nereus; a sea-nymph.
