Nepalese, a. and n.|nɛpɔːˈliːz| Also Nepaulese. [f. Nepal, name of a country on the north-eastern frontier of India + -ese.] A. adj. Of, pertaining to, or connected with Nepal. B. n. A native or inhabitant of Nepal; these people collectively. Also, the language of this people. The form Nepali (a. and n.) also occurs, esp. as the name of the language of the Nepalese.
