nectocalyx Zool.|nɛktəˈkeɪlɪks| Pl. -calyces. [mod.L., f. Gr. νηκτός swimming (f. νήχειν to swim) + calyx.] The swimming-bell which forms the natatory organ in many hydrozoans.
