‖ myzostoma Zool.|maɪˈzɒstəmə| Also (anglicized) ˈmyzostome. [f. Gr. µύζειν to suck + στόµα mouth.] One of an order (Myzostomata or Myzostomida) of small worms parasitic on crinoids, having disc-like bodies provided with suckers. So myˈzostomid; also myzoˈstomatous, myˈzostomous adjs., belonging to this order (in recent Dicts.).
