Antonine, n. and a.|ˈæntənaɪn| Also 6 Antonyne, 7 Antonin. [f. L. Antonīn(us (see anthonin) + -ine1, or as variant of anthonin.] A. n. 1. A disciple or follower of St. Anthony of Egypt (c 251–356); = anthonin.
