monotriglyph, a. and n. Arch.|mɒnəʊˈtraɪglɪf| [ad. L. monotriglyph-os (Vitruvius), a. Gr. *µονοτρίγλυϕος adj., f. Gr. µόνο-ς mono- + τρίγλυϕος triglyph. Cf. F. monotriglyphe n. and adj.] A. adj. Having only one triglyph in the space over an intercolumniation.
