antiˈsepticism Now rare.|-sɪz(ə)m| [f. antiseptic + -ism.] The process or principles of the prevention or treatment of sepsis by antiseptic means. So antiˈseptize v. trans., to treat antiseptically; to disinfect by means of an antiseptic.
