monophyodont, a. (n.) Zool.|mɒnəʊˈfaɪəʊdɒnt| [f. Gr. µόνο-ς mono- + ϕύ-ειν to generate + ὀδοντ-, ὀδούς tooth.] a. adj. Having only one set of teeth. Said also of the teeth.
