Monophoto|mɒnəʊˈfəʊtəʊ| [f. monotype n. and a. + photo.] The proprietary name of a photo-composing machine which uses a perforated paper tape produced by a keyboard unit to control filmsetting by a second unit which replaces the type-caster of a Monotype machine. Also attrib.
