Molossian, a. and n. Hist.|məʊˈlɒsɪən| [f. L. Molossia (= Gr. Μολοσσία) a country in Epirus, f. Gr. Μολοσσός molossus: see -an, -ian.] A. adj. Of or pertaining to Molossia; esp. Molossian dog, Molossian hound, a kind of mastiff.
