▪ I. ‖ moki1|ˈmɔki| [Maori.] Either of two New Zealand marine fishes, Latridopsis ciliaris, which is blue-grey and white, or the red moki, Chironemus spectabilis, which is reddish-brown, with dark brown bars on its sides; also, formerly, the blue cod, Parapercis colias.
