micro-scale|ˈmaɪkrəʊskeɪl| Also micro scale, microscale. [f. micro- 1 + scale n.3] A small or microscopic scale; spec. in Chem., the scale of microanalysis. Micro is freq. apprehended as an adj. qualifying scale (cf. micro- 8).
