A benzamide derivative with dopamine-receptor blocking properties, which is given orally and by injection (usually as the hydrochloride) as an antiemetic; 4-amino-5-chloro-N-(2-diethylaminoethyl)-2-methoxybenzamide, C14H22ClN3O2 .
