methamphetamine Pharm.|mɛθæmˈfɛtəmiːn, -ɪn| [f. meth- + amphetamine.] A methyl derivative, C6H5·CH2·CH(CH3)·NH(CH3), of amphetamine, used in the form of the hydrochloride, a white crystalline compound, as a stimulant of the central nervous system; its effects resemble those of amphetamine but are more rapid in onset and longer lasting.
