merbau|ˈmɜːbəʊ| Also marbow, merabau, murbow. [Malay.] A hardwood timber obtained from Intsia bijuga or I. palembanica, of the family Leguminosæ, trees native to Malaysia and Indonesia; also, the tree itself.
