menudo, n. U.S. (mɪˈnuːdəʊ, ‖ meˈnudo) [a. Mexican Sp. (cf. the earlier Sp. menudos giblets, offal), substantive use of menudo adj. small, ult. f. L. minutus minute a.] A thick, spicy Mexican soup, traditionally made with tripe, calf's feet, hominy, and seasoning.
