pro-opic, a. Anthrop.|prəʊˈəʊpɪk, -ˈɒpɪk| [f. Gr. πρό, pro-2 + ὤψ, ὠπ- face + -ic.] Having the nose and central line of the face prominent or projecting, as compared with the lateral parts: the opposite of platyopic or flat-faced.
