manitoka S. Afr.|mænɪˈtəʊkə| Also manotoka. [Perhaps a name fabricated by the botanist P. Macowan.] The South African name of a large shrub, Myoporum insulare, of the family Myoporaceæ, native to Australia and bearing small white flowers followed by edible blue berries.
