Malayali|mæləˈjɑːlɪ| Also Malayalee. [Native name, f. Dravidian mala mountain + āḷ possess.] A member of a Malayalam-speaking people inhabiting the state of Kerala on the Malabar coast of southern India. Cf. Malayalam. Also attrib.
