Makah, n. and a.|məˈkɑː| Pl. unchanged or Makahs. [Clallam màq'áˀa.] A. n. a. A member of a North American Indian people, inhabiting Cape Flattery in northwest Washington State. b. The language of this people, a member of the Nootkan branch of the Wakashan group. B. adj. Of or pertaining to the Makah.
