Maccabiah|mækəˈbiːə| [f. Maccabi, the name of an Israeli sporting organization + -ah Heb. adj. ending.] In full, Maccabiah Games. A sporting contest, modelled on the Olympic Games, for Jewish athletes, and held at four-yearly intervals in Israel.
