zussmanite Min.|ˈzʌsmənaɪt| [f. the name of J. Zussman (b. 1924), English mineralogist + -ite1.] A rhombohedral aluminosilicate of potassium, ferrous iron, and other metals, K(Fe2+,Mg,Mn)13(Si,Al)18O42(OH)14, found as pale green tabular crystals.
