zumbooruk|ˈzʌmbʊrʌk| Also zumbooruck, -boorak, -barak, zomboru(c)k, zamboorak, -borouk, -búrak. [ad. Hindustani zambūrak, f. Pers. zambūr hornet. Cf. Pers. zemberek crossbow.] A small swivel-gun, esp. one mounted on the back of a camel. Hence zumboorukchee, a gunner.
