luau|ˈluːaʊ| [ad. Hawaiian lu'au.] a. A party or feast with Hawaiian food and usually accompanied by Hawaiian entertainment; also attrib. b. A cooked dish of young taro leaves served with coconut cream and octopus or chicken.
