low-pitched, ppl. a. [In sense 1 f. low adv. + pitched pa. pple. of pitch v.; in sense 2 f. low a. + pitch n. + -ed2.] 1. Pitched in a low key or tone, lit. and fig.; but little elevated; of low quality.
