ˈlomper, v. Obs. or dial. [Cf. lamper v.; also lomber dial., to idle, and lumber v.] intr. ? To idle. Hence ˈlompering vbl. n., ? idleness. The passage of Shoreham is very obscure; the text may perhaps be seriously corrupt.
