log-on, n. Computing.|ˈlɒgɒn, lɒˈgɒn| Also logon. [f. vbl. phr. to log on: see log v.1 5 d.] The action or an act of logging on; = *log-in n. Also attrib., esp. designating a procedure which is carried out every time a user logs on.
