† ˈanlike, a. and n. Obs. Forms: 1 anlíc, 2–4 anlich, 4 anlyk. [OE. anlíc, f. an- prefix 1, on, unto, to, + líc body, shape; cogn. w. Goth. analeik, ON. álík; the latter, with OE. ᵹelíc, gave alike, like; anlike became obs. in 14th c.] A. adj. Like, similar, alike.
