ylang-ylang|ˈiːlæŋˈiːlæŋ| Also yhlang-, i(h)lang-. [a. Tagalog álang-ílang.] An anonaceous tree (Canangium odoratum) of Malaysia, the Philippines, etc., with fragrant greenish-yellow flowers from which a perfume is distilled; hence, the perfume itself.
