Yenidje, n.|ˈjɛnɪdʒɪ| Also Jenidze, Yeniji, etc. The former Turkish form of the name of the town of Yenisea in N. E. Greece, used attrib. and absol. to designate a variety of strong-flavoured tobacco grown in the region.
